Sphere: systems

There are now three distinctly different Sphere systems:

OfficeSphere - designed to provide everything that a small office or workgroup might require to send and receive email, create mail groups (lists), share files, access files from home, run a web server (intranet or extranet), share databases, backup and restore their data, and with our optional groupware, share and manage contacts and calendars etc. etc. Under the surface you'll also find all the necessary techie bits such as a firewall, DNS proxy, DHCP server etc, all built on a modern linux 2.6 kernel running journalled file systems under a rock-solid open-source linux.

StrataSphere - is our new virtual domain hosting solution. Built on a bang-up-to-date Linux, with a 2.6 kernel, and with the most modern packages, this means that you'll have no problem running the latest forums, blogs, wikis, communities and e-commerce systems on your server. Now undergoing final testing and only available as a RENTAL product through our The Rack House. Watch this space for release details!

TeleSphere - is a small office phone system (up to 100 handsets/users) which can work with ISDN30 systems, SIP trunks (VoIP), or both. Offering enormous flexibility (for example, phones don't even have to be at the same location to be part of the system) as well as huge cost savings through its intelligent use of call-routing over the internet wherenever feasible, TeleSphere continues to evolve at a rate so please look at the detailed product page for the latest feature set etc. etc.

Pick one (or more!) of the above and then select one of our three hardware platforms to run it on. Please use the menus to view further details...

The Sphere philosophy, server solutions for the rest of us, is what makes a Sphere product different. We design our systems not only for those installing and maintaining them, but also to allow their users to safely and quickly control their own settings etc. without having to call in, and wait for, "administrators".

With its open-source foundations that do not have hidden licencing costs, Sphere's total cost of ownership is very competitive, especially for organisations with a fast turn-around on staff (freeelance production teams etc.).
