Sphere Servers

News:

January 2011: OfficeSphere 1.7.3 released. Our final build of 1.7 before 1.8 comes in April (see below) sees everything updated yet again and a number of security enhancements and improvements to the logging and management systems.

January 2010: OfficeSphere 1.7 launched which brings our office server solution right up to date. With a major upgrade of the underlying linux kernel and operating system, along with support for installation on the last SATA3 hardware pllatforms and auto-detection of hard disk availability to automatically handle RAID 1 and RAID 5 setups, OfficeSphere 1.7 delivers the functionality, versatility and security expected of a contemporary server "appliance". It does this with next to no apparent change to the user interface, while at the same time upgrading virtually every aspect of the server under its hood. With full support for ACLs and hot swap devices, OfficeSphere 1.7 is a significantly improved product in every respect.

Coming soon... OfficeSphere 1.8 will be released in April 2011. Built with the very latest Debian 6.0, this will also integrate a groupware solution synchronising multiple contacts and calendars with MS Outlook, Apple AddressBook and iCal, Mozilla Thunderbird, Sunbird and Lightning, as well as smart phones such as the iPhone...
