Sphere Servers constantly upgrades and refines its products and existing systems may generally be remotely updated to the latest specifications if desired.

StrataSphere:

Server features:

System Administrator - sets up accounts and default system-wide settings for the server that are assigned to new domains
Account Administrators - are set up as "superusers" and have full control of all their domains on the system. Hence multiple resellers can share one StrataSphere and independently control their own client sites etc.
Domain Administrators - can set up users, email accounts, spam settings, mail lists and mail forwarding per domain
Usage Information - Webalizer, Network, Web, FTP, EMail and Disk. Statistics, are all available to authorised users as required
Active Monitor - real time supervision and alerts on system status etc.

Per domain (virtual site) features:

Web site - SSL or standard, or both. PHP 5, CGI, Perl support built-in. Other features by request from server admin.
Database - MySQL 5 built-in. Support for PostgreSQL etc. upon request. Ruby on Rails options too...
User Management create/edit/import/export users, mailing lists and general settings.
Services - Anti-virus and spam filtering tweaks from system-wide settings, web server, ftp, email and shell settings.
Site certificate management and usage information per site (as per whole server options).

Very familiar territory to everyone who's ever used a Cobalt RaQ, CPanel or Plesk for example - but arguably made even simpler through our intuitive and powerful control panels where, following the Sphere philosophy, we empower users and not just admins!

What's not obvious at all until you delve under the skin is that this is all running on a 2.6 linux kernel, with Apache2, MySQL5 and PHP5 etc.
